What kind of activities did I do? The kind activities that we did was go to courtroom and the judge was really funny a and made us laugh a lot. Another activity we did was we learned a new game and it was really fun because we had to catch a ball. Then we got to write in ink and send letters to our parents that we “were going to war”. Then we got to practice how we would shoot “Guns” with fake sticks. The most fun activity was that we got to write a letter with ink.
Did I like Riley’s Farm? Yes. I really liked Riley’s Farm because we learned how people in the colonies lived and what they ate for lunch and also how they were in war. I really liked it because we got to learn new things and stuff that we did not know that people in the olden days did.
What was my favorite Part? My favorite part of the field trip was that we got to be in the war and shoot Fake “guns”. I liked that because when they shot us we fell to the floor and that was really funny.
I think this was a really fun field trip, and wish we will go to another one like this one again.
American Revolution
What is the Proclamation of 1763 By Jennifer and Mauricio
The Proclamation of 1763 took place on October 7 , 1763 ,west of the Appalachian Mountains. It started in the end of french and indian war . British people were involved in the proclamation of 1763. King George the III issued the proclamation of 1763 to conciliate ( To stop someone from getting angry) the indians by checking the settlers on their lands. King George the III Declared all the west all lands west of limits to colonial settlers . Citizens and gov alike bought land or make agreements with native americans and would conduct all official relations. Only ligand traders would be able to travel west or make deals with natives. Therefore protecting colonials from native rampages. It was also intended to protect native americans from lots of attacks from white settlers! Even though the proclamation was supposed to be temporary the economic resources made ministers keep it until the peak of a revolutionary war. When people wanted good farm lands and many people defied the Proclamation of 1763.
